The project

Creating a new production of Claudio Monteverdi's Coronation of Poppea for the Athénée Théâtre Louis-Jouvet, then for performances at the Opéra de Dijon. 6 performances at the Athénée and 4 at the Opéra de Dijon, in March 2022. With the singers of the Académie de l'Opéra, and in collaboration with Le Poème Harmonique, directed by Vincent Dumestre, a professional ensemble renowned for its Baroque repertoire.

Did you know?

The Academy is made up of 12 singers, 4 pianists and vocal coaches, 10 musicians and a director.
Approximately 15 concerts and recitals at the Amphithéâtre Bastille and a gala concert on the Palais Garnier stage each season.
In 2021/2022: 30 lyrical performances with the artists of the Academy at the Paris Opera and outside the walls.
International tours, particularly in the context of exchanges with other opera institutions (Moscow, Shanghai, etc.).
